About the role

We are seeking a Software Developer to provide ServiceNow development. Solid JavaScript experience is a must, in addition to hands-on ServiceNow experience (4+ years preferred). ServiceNow certifications are highly desired. Candidates should have strong technical/development backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide development and process improvement support of Customer's Global Infrastructure Business System (GIBS) custom application suite and other Customer requirements on the enterprise and non-enterprise ServiceNow platforms.
• Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications using web development technologies, specifically JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Create catalog items and understand business rules within the ServiceNow platform.
• Analyze customer needs, internal processes, and document business process models, translating these into functional technical requirements.
• Evaluate system performance and identify measures or actions needed to improve or correct performance.
• Analyze functions, requirements, and existing capabilities to identify shortfalls and implement improvements.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience using web development technologies, specifically JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Demonstrated experience developing ServiceNow, or advanced experience with software development or experience with low-code development platforms and the aptitude to develop ServiceNow experience.
• Demonstrated experience with Flow Designer, creating catalog items, and an understanding of business rules.
• Demonstrated experience in business process analysis including evaluating customer need, internal processes, document business process models, and translating these models as functional technical requirements.
• Demonstrated experience in systems evaluation such as identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system.
• Demonstrated experience with process improvement such as analyzing functions, requirements, or existing capabilities and shortfalls.
• Demonstrated experience with program management and project task management, and customer relations and outreach.
• Demonstrated experience with IT and systems lifecycle management, including managing review boards, and change & release management.
• Demonstrated experience with knowledge management, including developing feature release descriptions, and technical artifacts related to the development under this request.

Qualifications

• Mandatory Requirements: Full Performance (3-5 years’ experience), Senior (6-10 years’ experience), Expert (11-15 years’ experience), SME (16+ years’ experience).
