About the role
The Software Engineer will work with a large team of developers, software engineers, and data engineers to build a new application that utilizes LLM to convert data and access policies from a variety of sources and formats into a uniform format for compliance assessment. The role involves translating business requirements into technical solutions, analyzing and decomposing complex software systems, and developing with scalability, testability, and performance in mind. The work rhythm revolves around the Scrum agile framework.
Responsibilities
- Develops microservice-based Java and Angular applications
- Develops secure RESTful APIs
- Works with relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL
- Utilizes Scrum agile techniques to manage workload and incrementally build out applications to meet customer requirements
- Uses Amazon Web Services
- Writes custom scripts to install and configure code in EC2 instances
- Works on a team to define system architectures and the design of new features
- Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, or Rundeck
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 6-10 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience developing secure RESTful APIs
- Demonstrated experience working with relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL
- Utilized Scrum agile techniques to manage workload and incrementally build out applications to meet customer requirements
- Experience using Amazon Web Services
- Ability to write custom scripts to install and configure code in EC2 instances
- Experience working on a team to define system architectures and the design of new features
- Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, or Rundeck
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 16+ years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience developing microservice-based Java and Angular applications
- Demonstrated experience developing secure RESTful APIs
- Demonstrated experience working with relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL
- Utilized Scrum agile techniques to manage workload and incrementally build out applications to meet customer requirements
- Experience using Amazon Web Services

- Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, or Rundeck
Skills
- Experience building and deploying applications on Spring Boot
- Understanding of Identity Access Management (IAM) Concepts
