About the role
The Ayer Shirley Regional School District seeks a dynamic Art Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year at Lura A. White Elementary School.
Responsibilities
- Implement curricula and activities to meet academic standards and Massachusetts frameworks
- Communicate effectively, consistently, and professionally with all students, families, and colleagues
- Provide support, accommodations, and attention to all students
- Participate in curriculum and professional development, grade-level activities, and school-wide functions
- Ensure students are engaged and invested in the classroom, managing behavior, and providing incentives
- Comply with school, district, and statewide policies and regulations
- Be accountable for students’ mastery of academic standards
- Complete other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum)
- Valid Massachusetts Teaching License in Visual Arts, PreK-8
- Citizenship, residency, or work visa required
Pay
$55,430 to $110,948 per year.
