4th Year Pediatric Audiology Externship 2027-2028
PEDIATRIC HEARING ASSESSMENT AND TECHNOLOGY
The audiology department at Texas Hearing Institute specializes in diagnostic testing to rule out or identify hearing loss in children. We collaborate with caregivers using a family-centered approach to determine optimal intervention and/or treatment options. Our protocols are current, evidence-based, and follow best practices.
MELINDA WEBB SCHOOL
The Melinda Webb School (MWS) is located on-site within Texas Hearing Institute and is an auditory-oral school for students who are 18 months old through 6 years of age. Audiology externs assist MWS staff with troubleshooting and daily listening checks of personal hearing technology and HAT.

- Following those initial phone interviews, you will be notified if you have been selected for an in-person and/or a Zoom interview with the Audiology team.
