4th Grade Teacher (2026-2027 school year)

About the Role

St. Catherine of Siena Catholic School is seeking a full-time educator to join our team in Wake Forest, NC. This position involves 37.5 hours per week and begins immediately for the 2026/2027 school year (start date: August 1, 2026).

Responsibilities

• Accept and uphold the mission of the school as articulated at the Diocesan and school level.
• Implement the educational mission, philosophy, goals, and objectives of the school.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver instruction in person in a professional manner that challenges students to reach their individual potential while celebrating the diverse ability levels of all students.
• Collaborate with other faculty and staff.

Requirements

• Degree in Education, ideally with a specialization in Elementary Education.
• At least one year of teaching experience.
• Employment is contingent upon passing criminal background (Diocesan) and reference checks.
• Must complete Diocese-sponsored Safe Environment Training upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• NC teaching license or equivalent from another state.
• Practicing Catholic with previous teaching experience.
