3rd Shift Production Supervisor

About the role

The successful candidate will lead an autonomous facility, with the support of a national organization. They will be responsible for managing and directing employees on a 3rd shift, overseeing multiple departments including Bottle Packers, Material Handlers, Quality Technicians, and Mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Document daily performance reports by preparing and analyzing production data
• Manage and direct employees daily, with a shift size potentially up to 25+
• Oversee and manage various departments including Bottle Packer, Material Handlers, Quality Technicians, and Mechanics
• Ensure all traceability paperwork is accurate and maintained
• Correct and report any unsafe conditions
• Train all employees on their shift
• Maintain scheduling to meet customer needs and minimize labor and overtime costs
• Review and calculate employee timecards daily using the Paychex system
• Provide coaching and discipline to employees as guided by Human Resources
• Write and issue performance evaluations
• Willing to assist the team by working a line

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of relevant experience in packaging or related manufacturing
• Experience with SQF / Food Safety Programs required
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
