Shift Details
- 3rd Shift: 11:00PM - 7:10AM
- Schedule: Five-day workweek, Sunday through Thursday, with additional hours or days based on business and production needs.
What You'll Do
- Oversee daily production and inventory activities to ensure products are manufactured according to production schedules and quality standards.
- Cook with the Maintenance team to minimize equipment downtime and support efficient operations.
- Inspect equipment, machinery, and work areas to ensure compliance with operational, quality, and safety standards.
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop production associates while fostering a positive team environment.
- Review and approve employee timecards and monitor attendance.
- Cook with the Production team to ensure appropriate production coverage.
- Spend time on the production floor supporting operators, answering questions, and resolving issues.
- Lead shift start-up meetings and participate in shift handoff communications.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Build strong working relationships across departments to support production goals.
- Promote employee engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of manufacturing production supervisory experience; automotive manufacturing experience preferred.
- Associate's degree in Industrial Manufacturing, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Proven leadership, coaching, and team development skills with the ability to build positive working relationships.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Experience with 5S, continuous improvement, cost and scrap reduction initiatives, and working knowledge of ISO and OSHA standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a goal-driven, continuous improvement mindset.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
