What Your Day Looks Like

The Mill Technician I is responsible for:

  • Milling Operations: Grain testing, auto and manual truck probing, hand-adds, recording medication and vitamin usage.
  • Animal Nutrition: Understanding how ingredients interact with milling and grinding processes.
  • Housekeeping: Cleaning and performing routine housekeeping of the mill.
  • Inventory Management: Maintaining bag inventories, stacking and ordering materials.
  • Administrative Tasks: Completing required training, performing other duties as assigned.

Who You Are

  • Independent and able to follow instructions.
  • Complies with Food Safety Standards and understands relevant regulations.
  • Basic math skills and critical thinking abilities.
  • Positive attitude and good communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills and adaptability.
  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and overtime.
  • Team player and follows policies and procedures.
  • Physical capabilities: lifting, climbing, working in confined spaces, and dusty conditions.
  • One year of experience in Level I for skill development.
