3rd Shift Distribution Center Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Hire, administer salaries, manage performance, coach, mentor, and take corrective actions for direct reports.
• Allocate work and monitor productivity.
• Oversee shipping, receiving, and stock handling procedures to ensure orderly, efficient, and timely receipt and shipment of goods.
• Establish and monitor daily and weekly schedules and priorities; ensure policies and procedures are adhered to and resources are utilized appropriately to control costs.
• Instruct assigned personnel in proper and safe stock handling methods to maintain a safe work location and minimize damage to stock.
• Work with Assistant Managers and other DC supervisors on a daily basis to keep open lines of communication from all areas of the business directly to the DC floor, ensuring deadlines are met and appropriate labor adjustments are made timely.
• Review paperwork to ensure proper completion.

Requirements

• Education and Experience: Associate's degree or equivalent experience is required. Knowledge of warehousing methods, procedures, and techniques utilized in handling and storing stock items is preferred. At least one year of previous supervisory experience is preferred.
