Responsibilities

• Supervise, evaluate and direct maintenance employees on shift in performing operations according to policies and procedures
• Stimulate, maximize safety, efficiency, quality and productivity of maintenance employees
• Ensure proper training of employees
• Monitor and confirm that machinery, equipment and facilities are properly maintained and sanitized for efficient production
• Work closely with other maintenance and production supervisors and management to promote efficiency and teamwork in the department
• Attend meetings as scheduled and called
• Perform other duties as needed or assigned

Requirements

• Must have overall knowledge of the Maintenance Operation and the industry
• Knowledge and technical skills in a variety of maintenance jobs
• Must be people oriented, able to understand employee’s needs, a good motivator, and able to teach new skills to employees
• Understand and comply with Company policy and procedures
• Great communications skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent organizational, math and statistical skills
• Good work history and attendance
• Team Player with leadership skills
• Technical training and certifications preferred
• Member of the Hazmat team preferred
• Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Willing and able to travel as business needs dictate, including to other facilities, Company events, or as a representative of the Company

Pay

Base annual salary range of $63K – $68K.
