3PL Freight Brokerage - Business Development Rep - Base + Commission

About the role

Odyssey Logistics moves freight globally for over 6,000 customers. We're looking for a Business Development Rep who's hungry to build a book of business and get paid for every win. In this role, you're on the phone, in the inbox, on LinkedIn, organically hunting mid-market shippers.

Requirements

• 2+ years in freight brokerage, 3PL, or transportation sales.
• Working knowledge of truckload and/or LTL.
• CRM chops (Salesforce or similar).
• A hunter mentality with confidence on the phone and in email outreach.

Nice to have

• A bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or logistics.
• Existing carrier or shipper relationships you can bring with you.

What You'll Do

• Prospect mid-market shippers by phone, email, Zoominfo, and LinkedIn.
• Run discovery calls that uncover new opportunities.
• Build proposals and pricing with our team.
• Manage new accounts through onboarding before handing them off to account management.

Pay

Base salary in line with your experience level. Uncapped commission on a sliding scale—the more you close, the more you earn. No ceiling, no regional guardrails.

Schedule

This position is open to candidates based in the Kennesaw, GA area working onsite (remote on Fridays) or candidates located in the Chattanooga, TN area working remotely with the expectation of transitioning to an onsite schedule as we expand our presence in the region. No relocation allowance will be considered unless specifically addressed. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
