Description
- Drive drawing management processes including: drawing planning, timelines, supplier engagement/management, drawing reviews, production reviews, and presentations.
- Standards Implementation: Manage standards documents outlining architectural details, standard components used across various programs, and drawing efficiencies. Ensure standards are clear, accurate, and accessible to all relevant stakeholders.
- Project Drawing Management: Partner with 3D Development Manager(s) on oversight of drawing packages, from initial strategy and planning through to execution.
- Drawing Storage Management: Maintain clear and accessible file storage allowing for efficient management of drawings across multiple interfaces (digital filing system and internal site).
- Vendor and Supplier Management: Engage with architectural partners, suppliers, & agencies, leading drawing reviews, and managing relationships to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Forge strong partnerships with internal and external teams ensuring clear communication, alignment on project objectives, and successful project outcomes.
- Problem-Solving: Drive innovative approaches to 3DVM solutions, proactively identifying and addressing challenges with creative, strategic thinking.
- Education and Advocacy: Educate both internal and XF on Program Standards
Minimum Qualifications
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in architectural standards, drawing management, and/or building information modeling. Familiarity with exhibition and/or retail fixture development.
- Experience in strategic project management within, not limited to, a design agency, architecture firm, or in-house studio.
- Technical Expertise: Extensive experience with architectural, engineering, and/or manufacturing drawings, along with advanced knowledge of project management tools and drawing standards.
- Project Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to provide strategic direction, foster cross-functional collaboration, and drive project success.
- Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with collaborators at peer and manager levels.
- Attention to Detail: Strong eye for quality, construction details, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Innovative Thinking: Demonstrated ability to develop and implement innovative solutions and optimize processes for efficiency and consistency.
- BA or BS degree preferred, or relevant experience
