Production On-Site Coordinator

Overview

The On-Site Vestis Coordinator is a critical asset to ensuring the rotation of inventory. The Coordinator is responsible for notifying Customer contacts of any issues with deliveries, losses, ruins, etc., and handling these issues within a timely manner.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions

• Break down totes (from new deliveries)
• Stock garment racks with age-appropriate garments, rotating oldest garments first
• Mark totes with appropriate dates
• Monitor slow-moving inventory and determine if stock reductions are necessary
• Weekly status updates to Customer contacts (All Areas)
• Handle issues such as garments, stocking, orders, and lack of garment rotation
• Review the garment racking system daily
• Remove all dirty garments from suites/areas and place them on the dock for pick-up
• Backup for other On-Site Coordinators
• Notify areas of days out of office
• Understand the stocking process
• Gather all garments to be reprocessed and compile a list of size, quantities, and items for Customer contacts
• Communicate to Vestis the list of items being returned after obtaining authorization from Customer contacts

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Detail-oriented
• Intermediate computer skills
• Effective written and oral communication skills

Experience/Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Customer Service experience preferred

Working Environment/Safety Requirements/Physical Requirements

• Able to safely lift, carry or maneuver a minimum of 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 pounds on a frequent basis
• Stand/walk for extended amounts of time daily
• Exposure to adverse and varying weather conditions, including extreme hot/cold temperatures
• Fast-paced environment requiring irregular and long hours
