About the role
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapy, Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex respiratory assessments and administer treatments in the NICU.
- Operate and manage Draeger and high-frequency jet ventilators.
- Cook up and collaborate with healthcare teams to plan patient care.
- Floater between Bridgeport Hospital and Milford Campuses as needed.
- Orientate and mentor new hires and students when needed.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures while ensuring high standards of patient safety.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level II trauma center is required.
- BLS, CRT or RRT along with a state license are required.
- Travel experience is required; NICU experience preferred.
- Proficiency with respiratory therapies and critical care procedures.
- Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
- Willingness to work every other weekend and on holidays as necessary.
