Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing and controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This includes functions such as receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, and delivery. The team ensures the efficient flow of products from vendor receipt to shipment, serving a variety of internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

  • Make decisions, often difficult or unpopular, by carefully weighing pros and cons and acting for the benefit of the work team; coach and support subordinates in their decision-making efforts.
  • Assist the work team in achieving goals and commitments; meet personal goals regardless of obstacles.
  • Collaborate with the work team to brainstorm solutions that balance appropriate risk; ensure the team understands and supports operational excellence.
  • Identify and eliminate unnecessary workflow steps, finding synergies to improve productivity and efficiency; remove non-value-added tasks.
  • Actively build relationships across functions and businesses, encouraging participation and diverse perspectives; mentor and empower others to succeed.
  • Adopt client perspectives to understand expectations; make decisions aligned with client needs and cultural sensitivities.
  • Frequently interact with subordinates, clients, and peer groups at various management levels.
  • Hold staff accountable for safe work practices; ensure warehouse personnel have safe, efficient equipment and foster a culture of continuous improvement in Environmental, Health, and Safety.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations from OSHA, DEA, FDA, and state/local authorities; adhere to cGMP guidelines.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of leadership experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Logistics and Distribution experience preferred.
  • Ability to utilize analytical data to achieve KPIs.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Pay

Anticipated salary range: $67,500 - $96,300. Pay is determined by multiple factors including geographical location, relevant education, experience, skills, and internal pay equity.

Schedule

Monday to Thursday, 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM or until tasks are complete.
