2nd Shift Soft Serve- Welder

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding, grinding, wrapping, foaming, and assembly of evaporator hoppers, barrels, and related components
• Work from blueprints, process sheets, schedules, or independently establish procedures and sequences when documentation is not available
• Set up and operate a variety of mechanical equipment, including welding, grinding, wrapping, extruding, spot welding, polishing, and foaming equipment
• Lay out components, perform tooling and fixture setups, and identify or develop basic tooling as needed
• Organize materials and maintain workflow to meet production timelines within engineering specifications
• Support and maintain a lean pull system from barrel welding through final foaming
• Monitor equipment and product quality; identify malfunctions, improper fits, or operational issues, and take corrective action
• Maintain welding equipment and work areas to ensure safe and efficient operations
• Perform material handling and adhere to all housekeeping and safety standards
• Assist with troubleshooting, product failure analysis, and occasional in-field service as needed
• Collaborate with and support team members; may help schedule others to meet production demand

Requirements

• Must pass a welding test conducted during the in-person interview

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Welding certification preferred

• Shift: 2nd Shift (Start: 2:00 PM | End: 10:30 PM – 12:30 AM)
• Pay: $26.95/hour (+ $1.00 Shift Premium)
