The Mapleton Foundry is one of the largest in the United States, located just 20 minutes from Peoria, IL, and home to the largest core making machine in the world. Responsibilities

  • Implementing quality assurance strategies, processes, guidelines and control plans which assure quality and reliability of manufactured products.
  • Troubleshooting inspection equipment.
  • Recruiting, developing, and leading staff to accomplish personal and organizational goals, adhere to policies/procedures and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Communicating adherence to client requirements, product or service specifications, and ensuring that their expectations are met to achieve high customer satisfaction rates.
  • Leading the development and implementation of corrective action and preventive measures to achieve quality targets.
  • Addressing trends with internal and external non-conformance.
  • Managing multiple teams, team leaders, quality specialists and inspectors to assure that quality standards are met.
  • Reviewing reports and confer with quality assurance, production, management, and engineering personnel to solve quality issues.

Requirements

  • Previous foundry and machining experience.
  • CMM programming experience.
  • Engineering or Quality Degree highly desired.
  • Advanced Excel or PowerBI experience.

Qualifications

This position is in Mapleton, IL. Second shift day/hours are Monday- Friday 3 PM -11PM. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
