ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Cook up with the Manufacturing Supervisor and orchestrate line workload and staffing based on product priority.
  • Make sure work adheres to or surpasses Jabil's workmanship standards and keep an eye on the CIQ system to fix recurring and acknowledged issues promptly.
  • Minimize changeover times by organizing and planning changeovers efficiently.
  • Keep excess materials off the floor; ensure adequate stock and availability of operation supplies and equipment.
  • Confirm that only correct, updated, and approved documents are present on the line.
  • Inform or instruct employees about any discrepancies or modifications.
  • Alert the Manufacturing Supervisor immediately concerning all employee-related issues, concerns, and suggestions.
  • Pursue continuous improvement across all areas of responsibility.
  • Ensure line personnel are adequately trained, certified, and executing their assigned tasks.
  • Incentivize and motivate all line members to reach their maximum potential through direct and timely formal and informal feedback.
  • Monitor production and guarantee all deadlines and schedules are met.
  • Review and ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures issued to the line.
  • Adhere to all safety rules and use and ensure that workers utilize the necessary protective equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Comply and follow all safety and health rules and regulations pertinent to this position and as directed by the supervisor.
  • Comply with and follow all procedures outlined in the company's security policy.

Minimum Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with two to six years of experience in a relevant Jabil production position; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in printed circuit board manufacturing is highly preferred.
