Key Responsibilities
- Review and enter material consumption data into company systems, including Microsoft Business Central and Aptean
- Gather and verify information related to material quantities and lot numbers used in production
- Accurately document and track lot codes to ensure full product traceability
- Confirm that part numbers match product specifications and production requirements
- Investigate and resolve material usage discrepancies, including identifying root causes and communicating findings
- Work with Finance to review and resolve inventory and usage discrepancies as needed
- Support Quality team with investigations, trace exercises, and product traceability as needed
- Work closely with production and warehouse teams to collect data and ensure accurate reporting
- Maintain organized and accurate records of material usage and related documentation
- Prepare and distribute copies of specifications, pick lists, pallet tags, and other documents supporting plant operations
- File and archive documents in accordance with company procedures
- Assist in inventory control processes and support cycle counts and audits as needed
- Participate in cycle counts and year-end inventory activities as required
- Provide support to Production and Warehouse Supervisors as needed
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or food production environment is preferred
- Experience with ERP systems, specifically Microsoft Business Central and/or Aptean, is a plus
- Experience with inventory control processes and systems is beneficial
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word is essential
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry is required
- The ability to analyze data and identify discrepancies is important
- Strong communication and teamwork skills are necessary
- The ability to work overtime and weekends as needed is expected
