Responsibilities

• Operate an efficient, productive and safe department while meeting or exceeding daily production requirements.
• Ensure quality and service are at a high level.
• Maintain a productive, positive, and motivated workforce by spending a minimum of 90% of the total shift "on the floor" reviewing orders and directing associates.
• Manage day-to-day activity within the department, including planning, flow, and resource allocation.
• Develop and motivate associates, ensuring morale remains high while maintaining company culture.
• Build effective relationships with business partners (counterparts, peers, management, union, HR, loss prevention, transportation).
• Communicate effectively with associates, counterparts, peers, and management to support efficient operations.
• Ensure the area meets all safety and housekeeping requirements.
• Review practices, methods, and processes for constant improvement and make recommendations on opportunities to improve.

Requirements

• Previous experience managing diverse teams of 20+ associates.
• 4‑6 years of relevant experience.
• High school graduate; college preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Must be available to support multiple shifts.
