About the role

This role involves handling materials from the Stores area, recording data, issuing parts to operators on the floor, packing and unpacking items, performing transactional tasks, storing items in an organized manner, pulling inventory, issuing to work orders, reviewing SAP (IW32) work orders, canceling material documents, managing manual material movements, reviewing material documents, receiving and counting items, recording data, performing weekly cycle counts, monitoring Zebra printers, changing printer ribbons, actively participating in continuous improvement processes, and engaging in safety-related activities.

Responsibilities

  • Issue materials from Stores area and record data
  • Record parts issued to operators on the floor
  • Pack and unpack items to be stocked
  • Perform transactional tasks
  • Store items in an orderly, accessible manner (traceability)
  • Pull inventory and issue to work orders
  • Review work order in SAP (IW32)
  • Cancel material document
  • Manual material movements (MB1A / MB1B)
  • Able to review material documents and understand the data trail
  • Receive and count items and record data
  • Perform weekly cycle counts on inventory
  • Able to monitor Zebra printer and change printer ribbon
  • Actively participate in the Continuous Improvement process as well as safety related activities

Qualifications

  • Typically requires HS diploma or GED or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
  • Basic knowledge of SAP transactions
  • Experience utilizing Excel scripting
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with Andon system for work order BOM issues, cycle counting experience, and ability to review material documents and understand the data trail

Schedule

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday 3:30pm - 12:00am, with training on the first shift from 7:00am-3:30PM for tentative 2-3 months.
