Responsibilities

  • Review work orders and ensure that all work schedules are met.
  • Organizes and assigns work.
  • Supervises skilled and semi-skilled employees performing major repairs and preventive maintenance to buildings and equipment and grounds.
  • Anticipates maintenance and personnel problems and resolves problems to minimize their effects on production.
  • Makes sure safety issues are addressed and solved.
  • Completes maintenance personnel reviews in a timely manner.
  • Will complete other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Directs all maintenance personnel in the PDS Facility.
  • Assumes the duties of the Maintenance Manager in his absence as needed.

Qualifications

  • Education and/or Experience: Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; two-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years in the maintenance department, held a relief supervisor position in maintenance.
  • Computer skills/experience in work order systems and preventive maintenance.
