2nd Shift Full-Time Warehouse Selector

About the role

As a 2nd Shift Full-Time Warehouse Selector at the Gordon Food Service distribution center located at 4980 Gateway Blvd., Springfield, Ohio, you will be a key part of the team that ensures seamless order processing and delivery. The role involves being on your feet for 10 hours per shift, lifting up to 100 pounds, working in freezer (extreme cold) and/or hot conditions, selecting products using labels, pick lists, scanners, and signage, completing paperwork, and following verbal instructions. No prior experience is required; dedicated training is provided.

Responsibilities

• On your feet for 10 hours per shift.
• Lift up to 100 pounds.

• Select products using labels, pick lists, scanners, and signage.
• Complete paperwork and follow verbal instructions.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as required.
• Ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions (freezer environment).
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Successful completion of a pre‑employment drug test and background check.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred but not required.

Pay

• Starting wage: $20.90 per hour.
• Second‑shift premium: +$1.00 per hour.
• Opportunity for two pay raises during the first year.
• Earn additional hourly pay based on speed and efficiency (performance‑based increases).
• On average, selectors take home approximately 122% of their base salary.

Schedule

Sunday through Thursday: shift starts at 6:50 pm and ends after 10 hours of work. Fridays and Saturdays are off.
