2nd Shift Diesel Mechanic
Duties And Responsibilities
- Performs repairs (including electrical and hydraulic systems) and assigned preventive maintenance services.
- Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs.
- Conducts safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
- Completes required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
- Reviews and completes repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
- Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
Requirements
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs repeatedly.
Pay
Competitive pay - plus approximately 5-10 hours of overtime weekly (overtime is time and a half after 40).
Schedule
2:00pm - until close Monday-Thursday, Friday is 12pm until 8:30pm with over time as needed plus rotating Saturdays which are 6am until 11am.
