About the role
Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance on Diesel and CNG vehicles to ensure a safe, reliable fleet.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair heavy-duty diesel trucks, hydraulics, and specialized equipment.
- Perform routine and complex maintenance on diesel, CNG, gas, and electric vehicles.
- Plan and schedule repairs using the M5 planner system, ensuring parts availability.
- Complete accurate reports, work orders, and parts requests.
- Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with laws and policies.
- Assist in reviewing equipment issues, coordinating repairs, and training team members.
- Maintain personal tools and keep work area organized.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; technical diploma in diesel mechanics preferred.
- At least 1 year of diesel mechanic experience.
- Computer literacy and ability to learn diagnostic software.
- Ability to meet safety screening criteria.
Physical & Working Conditions
- Frequent standing, walking, kneeling, and lifting up to 100 pounds.
- Work exposed to loud noise, moving parts, chemicals, and weather conditions.
- Occasional work at heights.
