About the role

Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance on Diesel and CNG vehicles to ensure a safe, reliable fleet.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair heavy-duty diesel trucks, hydraulics, and specialized equipment.
  • Perform routine and complex maintenance on diesel, CNG, gas, and electric vehicles.
  • Plan and schedule repairs using the M5 planner system, ensuring parts availability.
  • Complete accurate reports, work orders, and parts requests.
  • Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with laws and policies.
  • Assist in reviewing equipment issues, coordinating repairs, and training team members.
  • Maintain personal tools and keep work area organized.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; technical diploma in diesel mechanics preferred.
  • At least 1 year of diesel mechanic experience.
  • Computer literacy and ability to learn diagnostic software.
  • Ability to meet safety screening criteria.

Physical & Working Conditions

  • Frequent standing, walking, kneeling, and lifting up to 100 pounds.
  • Work exposed to loud noise, moving parts, chemicals, and weather conditions.
  • Occasional work at heights.
