2nd Shift Custodian at Ames High School
Responsibilities
- Cleans and maintains assigned rooms throughout the building.
- Aids in preparing the facility for evening and weekend activities.
- Safeguards the building and performs lock-up duties.
- Utilizes computers to enter work orders, manage email, and submit timesheets and absences.
- Communicates with staff and community members using a two-way radio and cell phone.
- Maintains building grounds during winter conditions through snow removal and ice mitigation.
Qualifications
- Ability to frequently lift, bend, shovel, carry, and move items up to 50 lbs. such as furniture, trash, and bags of ice melt.
- Effectively communicates both verbally and in writing.
Compensation
Compensation: $17.00 per hour
