Mid-Shift Custodian at Ames Middle School

Work Schedule

Mid-Shift: Monday-Friday 11:30am - 3:30pm; 12 month position (year-round)

Responsibilities/Essential Functions

• Routinely cleans the cafeteria during and after lunch.
• Cleans assigned rooms in the school.
• Helps prepare building for evening and weekend activities.
• Building lock-up/security.
• Uses computers to input work orders, email, timesheet/absences.
• Uses two-way radio and cell phone to communicate with other staff and community members.

Qualifications

• Frequent lifting, bending, carrying and moving items up to 50 lbs. such as furniture, trash, and bags of ice melt, snow removal.
• Effectively communicate both written and verbal

Compensation

$17.00 per hour
