High School Custodian - 2nd Shift

Schedule

• School term: 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm, 180+ days (½ hour unpaid lunch)
• Summer: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, 81+ days (½ hour unpaid lunch)

Responsibilities

• Heavy‑duty cleaning, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and disinfecting restrooms
• Cleaning supply facilities, dusting, window cleaning, and other duties described in the district cleaning procedure handbook
• Mixing cleaning solutions according to instructions
• Gathering trash and recyclables

Requirements

• Ability to perform repetitive motions—including standing, walking, and bending—for up to 8 hours per day
• Good communication and time‑management skills
• Self‑motivated, task‑oriented, and able to work well in a team environment
• Experience is helpful but not required; training will be provided

Pay

Base range $15.80 – $16.30 per hour, based on experience. An additional $0.40 per hour is paid for second‑shift hours.
