About the Role

Full-time 2nd Shift Custodian position at Caesar Rodney High School. This role involves indoor and outdoor tasks, equipment maintenance, and deep cleaning of spaces used by students and staff. Snow removal is required during inclement weather. The individual must work independently and as part of a team. Specific hours may be adjusted by the principal based on building needs.

Responsibilities

• Climb ladders and consistently lift 50 pounds
• Maintain and deep clean indoor and outdoor spaces
• Operate and maintain custodial equipment
• Remove snow during inclement weather
• Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Requirements

• High school diploma, certificate of completion, and/or GED (copy required)
• Ability to meet all employment requirements of the Caesar Rodney School District

Pre-Employment Requirements

• Provide official high school transcripts
• Submit an updated resume and three (3) letters of recommendation
• Pass a criminal background check and tuberculosis test
• Provide proper identification (Social Security Card and Driver’s License)
• Document eligibility for employment in the U.S.A. and complete I-9 form
• Complete paperwork for the Delaware Child Protection Registry

Pay

Salary is in accordance with the State of Delaware and local salary schedules, based on experience and degree.
