About the role
Calyx Living is actively seeking energetic 2nd Shift Care Staff for our BRAND NEW assisted living community, Calyx Living of Apex! We are located in beautiful Apex just off I-540 at Hwy 64.
Responsibilities
- Assist and provide direction to residents with personal care needs
- Monitor self-administration of medication
- Ensure resident hygiene
- Obtain and record residents' vital signs
- Maintain safety of residents
- Complete incident reports
- Assist with meal services
- Observe residents for any changes in conditions
Qualifications
- Caregiver experience strongly preferred
- Must have compassion and a desire to work with seniors
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and families
- Ability to adapt to each resident and setting
- Reliable, responsive and attentive
- 18 years or older with a demonstrated maturity
- Must be available to work weekends
