2nd Shift Care Staff

About the role

Calyx Living is actively seeking energetic 2nd Shift Care Staff for our assisted living community in beautiful Fuquay‑Varina, North Carolina—one of the fastest‑growing towns in the state and minutes from its two vibrant, historic downtown districts.

Responsibilities

• Assist and provide direction to residents with personal care needs.
• Monitor self‑administration of medication.
• Ensure resident hygiene.
• Obtain and record residents' vital signs.
• Maintain safety of residents.
• Complete incident reports.
• Assist with meal services.
• Observe residents for any changes in condition.

Qualifications

• Caregiver experience strongly preferred.
• Compassion and a desire to work with seniors.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and families.
• Ability to adapt to each resident and setting.
• Reliable, responsive, and attentive.
• 18 years or older with demonstrated maturity.
• Availability to work weekends.
