2nd/3rd Shift Care Staff

About the role

Calyx Living is actively seeking energetic 2nd/3rd Shift Care Staff for our assisted living community located in beautiful Wakefield, just off Capital Boulevard in North Raleigh.

Responsibilities

• Assist and provide direction to residents with personal care needs
• Monitor self-administration of medication
• Ensure resident hygiene
• Obtain and record residents' vital signs
• Maintain safety of residents
• Complete incident reports
• Assist with meal services
• Observe residents for any changes in conditions

Qualifications

• Caregiver experience strongly preferred
• Must have compassion and a desire to work with seniors
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and families
• Ability to adapt to each resident and setting
• Reliable, responsive and attentive
• 18 years or older with a demonstrated maturity
• Must be available to work weekends
