2nd/3rd Shift Care Staff

Calyx Living of Apex is a brand-new assisted living community located in beautiful Apex, just off I-540 at Hwy 64.

About the role

We are hiring 2nd/3rd Shift Care Staff to assist and provide direction to residents with personal care needs. Shifts are available immediately.

Responsibilities

• Monitor self-administration of medication
• Ensure resident hygiene
• Obtain and record residents' vital signs
• Maintain safety of residents
• Complete incident reports
• Assist with meal services
• Observe residents for any changes in conditions

Requirements

• Caregiver experience strongly preferred
• Compassion and a desire to work with seniors
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and families
• Ability to adapt to each resident and setting
• Reliable, responsive, and attentive
• 18 years or older with demonstrated maturity
• Must be available to work weekends
