About the Role

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies for the position of 2nd Mate on the Dredge William L. Goetz. The official duty station is wherever the dredge is located. 2nd Mates exercise responsibility for the continued operation, maintenance, and safety of the dredge and attendant plant.

Requirements

• Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
• Proof of U.S. Citizenship is required.
• One year probationary period may be required.
• Direct Deposit of Pay is required.

• This announcement uses the Direct Hire Authority (DHA) for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to certain positions in the competitive service.
