About the role
Durango School District is accepting applications for Wrestling Specialist to assist the head coach with all duties of the program and be an advocate for student athletes. Proactive, responsible coaching during games and practices and throughout the season. Position begins November 2026.
Responsibilities
- Provide proactive, responsible coaching during games and practices.
- Support the wrestling program throughout the season.
- Advocate for student athletes.
Requirements
- Valid CHSAA Certification, or Colorado Teaching Certificate/License.
- Fundamental knowledge of wrestling.
- Experience working with related school‑aged athletes/students.
- Ability to work as an integral part of the coaching staff.
- Current medical injury treatment course work.
