About the Role
To assist the Head Coach, primarily with recruiting, organizing and running practices, fundraising, promotional activities, and other related assigned responsibilities.

Responsibilities
- Be a positive role model to student-athletes on and off the mat, exhibit strong leadership, and strive to develop those leadership capabilities within student-athletes;
- Monitor and assist student-athletes with academic success;
- Effectively recruit quality student-athletes;
- Assist the head coach with any and all aspects of the program.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and acceptance into the Lakeland University graduate school program are required;
- Experience in the sport of wrestling is required;
- Must have an acceptable driving record;
- Demonstrated knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations governing recruitment, eligibility and related functions;
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and maintain work authorization throughout the employment term.

- Ability to prioritize office workflow and make effective administrative decisions to increase efficiency, accuracy, and productivity;
- Demonstrated ability to tactfully and effectively communicate (written and verbal) with a variety of individuals;
- Strong critical thinking skills;
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) or similar products;
- Organizational ability, and attention to detail and accuracy;
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment;
- Ability to work evenings or weekends as needed.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Moderate to strenuous physical activity is part of the position. Requires the ability to run at a reasonable pace;
- Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
