About the role

Responsible for coaching boys wrestling at the secondary level.

Responsibilities

• Manage and motivate student athletes
• Develop and implement training programs
• Participate in team meetings and practices
• Ensure compliance with all school policies and regulations

Requirements

• Minimum age of 21
• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited program/university in FLDOE certificate subject area
• Florida Instructional Certification (any subject)
• Florida Athletic Coaching Certification [Professional 5 Year or Temporary* 3 Year Athletic Coaching Certificate issued by the State of Florida Department of Education]
• Two (2) years documented sport specific and age level (Secondary) specific coaching experience

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of the sport at the competition level
• Demonstrated leadership skills

• Ability to manage large groups of students/athletes
