257741 (KA) Clinical Nurse Specialist
About the role
The post holder will provide specialist clinical care and advice on pain management to multi-disciplinary colleagues as well as managing a clinical caseload as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialist education and training programmes for health care professionals and other professional groups within NHS Lothian.
- Identify and undertake research activities to ensure evidence-based practice in the specialist area, supporting service improvement.
Requirements
- Hold a post registration qualification, Clinical Assessment and Decision-making course or equivalent.
- Experience of pain management within current role is essential.
- PVG Scheme membership/record is required.
Qualifications
This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
