About the role
As an Intern, you’ll be treated just like our entry-level staff. You’ll help instill confidence in organizations by assuring their financial health with meaningful, flexible work—not just spreadsheets.
- Analyze and compile client financial information into Medicare and Medicaid cost reporting.
- Interface with clients to optimize their revenues through reporting.
- Develop professional relationships with clients and demonstrate dedication.
- Research market and industry trends, and report on findings.
- Engage in meaningful interactions with staff at all levels and clients.
This is a non-exempt position and may require work hours exceeding the standard 40-hour work week. Some local, national, and occasional international travel may be required.
Requirements
- Detail-oriented leader with problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
- Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in accounting or related field; or master’s degree in accounting, tax, or related field.
- Academic success (minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0).

Pay
The compensation range for this role in CO, IL, OH, and MA is $33.00 - $36.00 per hour. Compensation decisions consider factors such as responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. Early-career roles, including campus hires, receive standardized, market-based starting salaries within the same hiring group.
Schedule
Plante Moran follows a "Workplace for Your Day" model, emphasizing flexibility and balance while maintaining a principally in-person approach. Face-to-face interactions are prioritized for development, but individuals may work with their supervisor to determine their optimal working environment each day.
