We are recruiting for our next Investment Banking Analyst class. Oppenheimer provides Analysts with a high level of responsibility and extensive access to senior management and clients. Analysts can expect to be involved in a variety of transactions, including financings, mergers and acquisitions, recapitalization, and restructuring assignments. Transaction teams at Oppenheimer are typically small in size, providing Analysts with significant responsibilities early in their careers.

We will consider Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 graduates for the program.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare complex financial analyses and models
  • Conduct due diligence investigations of client companies
  • Support the preparation of detailed memoranda and presentations describing the key attributes of client companies
  • Research potential buyers/investors
  • Participate in various marketing and recruiting activities of the firm

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree from a leading university, preferably with a major in finance or accounting
  • Prior work experience as a summer analyst at another investment bank strongly preferred
  • Extremely smart, with particularly strong quantitative, writing, and interpersonal skills
  • Very comfortable working in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Team-oriented mindset, as we focus on team chemistry in our hiring process

Pay

The current base salary offered for this role is $100,000.00 per year (specific to the City of Baltimore). Certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as a discretionary bonus. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience, and location.
