Services include Equity Capital Markets, Debt Capital Markets, Mergers and Acquisitions, Debt Advisory & Restructuring, Debt Private Placements, and Fund Placement & Advisory.
About the role
The Investment Banking department is seeking an Analyst to join the Industrials Group in the Baltimore office. The candidate will work closely with senior members of the Industrials Group, gaining exposure to sell-side and buy-side advisory, underwriting, and placing equity and debt offerings for public and privately held companies.
Responsibilities
- Preparing client presentations, drafting offering memoranda, internal committee memoranda, management and board presentations, and other materials for senior bankers
- Transaction execution involving direct client interaction and communication
- Managing client due diligence processes
- Conducting extensive financial modeling and valuation
- Assessing industry research and trends
- Liaising with internal and external parties (including corporate issuers, financial sponsors, legal counsel) to expand corporate relationships and drive day-to-day deal processes
- Reviewing and overseeing development of financial models, valuation analyses, and research
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in investment banking; Industrials experience preferred
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Elevated attention to detail and consistency in work product
- Strong work ethic and team-player mindset
- Organized and proactive
- Dealogic, CapIQ, Bloomberg, and MS Office suite knowledge strongly preferred
- Series 63, 79 licenses, and Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) FINRA registrations required at time of hiring or shortly thereafter
Pay
The base salary range for this position in Baltimore is $115,000.00 – $130,000.00. Certain positions are eligible for additional discretionary bonuses.
