What is the position? JEGI LEONIS seeks to hire an Analyst to join its Advisory team in New York, NY in June 2027. JEGI LEONIS is a leading M&A advisor to companies across the global technology, software, media, and business services sectors. The firm works with founders, financial sponsors, and multinational corporations on a wide range of strategic transactions, providing professionals with exposure to high-profile clients and complex advisory engagements. Primary Responsibilities: Analysts at JEGI LEONIS play an important role in supporting the execution of M&A and capital advisory transactions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Developing and maintaining financial models, including valuation analyses such as comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, and discounted cash flow models.Supporting the preparation of client materials, including information memoranda, management presentations, board materials, and new business pitch presentations.Conducting industry and market research, including analyzing industry trends, competitive positioning, and strategic developments across relevant sectors.Assisting in transaction execution, including supporting due diligence processes, preparing financial and operational analyses, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.Analyzing company financial statements and operating metrics to evaluate strategic opportunities and transaction outcomes.Working closely with senior team members to support the development of strategic recommendations and advisory solutions for clients. Specific Qualifications: Candidates should possess strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and a demonstrated interest in investment banking and M&A advisory. Analysts are expected to contribute to transaction execution through financial analysis, research, and the preparation of client deliverables while working collaboratively within a team environment. Bachelor’s degree expected by June 2027Prior internship experience in investment banking, corporate finance, transaction advisory, valuation, or a related field preferredStrong financial modeling and analytical skillsSolid understanding of financial statements and valuation methodologiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh level of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlinesProficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office toolsApplicants must have the legal right to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship Expected Base Salary: $90,000 – $90,000 In addition to a competitive base salary, employees may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus delivered in the form of cash and/or deferred compensation.
