About the role

The Chief Administrative Office (CAO) at Wells Fargo is seeking talented individuals for a 2027 summer internship. This program offers the opportunity to support one of our CAO businesses and gain meaningful work experience while growing your business acumen. Participants have the chance to choose their career path through a competitive internship that may lead to an offer into the 2-year rotational analyst program.

Business Overview

The CAO develops and manages enterprise services that create the best possible experience for our business partners, employees, and customers. Focused on effectiveness and consistency, the CAO builds and maintains our buildings, keeps people safe, secures company assets, helps the business use data to make decisions, optimizes our supply chain, and more.

Program Overview

The summer internship program is a professional development program providing participants with a 10-week overview of Wells Fargo and a high-level understanding of the company's operations, business strategies, and corporate culture. The internship experience includes relationship building, relevant work assignments, coaching, performance feedback sessions, and informative learning sessions with key stakeholders. The program incorporates real-world scenarios and experiences to help prepare you for a rewarding career at Wells Fargo.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants must have 6+ months of work experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education. Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Analytics & Data, Business Intelligence, Communication, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Government, Management and Risk Management, Mathematics, Physics, Political Science, Policy & Management, Pre-law, Real Estate, Statistics, Supply Chain, Technology, or related business field with an expected graduation between December 2027 - June 2028. Involvement in extracurricular enrichment activities through one or more of the following: volunteerism, student organization involvement, study abroad program(s), leadership position(s), non-profit involvement. Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills. Familiarity with AI-powered productivity tools (such as chat-based assistants and built-in features like Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday tasks including research, organizing information, and creating presentations with a strong interest in learning and using these tools responsibly. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to use data insights, learn quickly, adapt to change, and support innovative solutions. Ability to execute with urgency, support business reporting and project management, drive operational excellence, and adapt effectively to change with an enterprise mindset. Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to foster an inclusive environment and actively seek and apply feedback. Business acumen and business analysis skills, with a strong service orientation and the ability to support solutions that drive clients and business impact. Ability to act with integrity, identify and manage operational risks, and apply regulatory compliance principles to support well-controlled operations.
