About The Position & Department

The COO Wholesale Banking (WB) Americas is accountable for defining and executing the strategy for Operations, aligned with both the global WB COO and regional business objectives. The department’s goal is to optimize productivity, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency for all Wholesale Bank clients within the US remit. The COO Domain enables the delivery of all Wholesale Bank products, including Lending Services, Financial Markets, and Capital Markets.

WB COO Americas consists of Client Service Delivery, Operational Design, Control & Resilience, Regional Data Office, and Financial Crime Prevention functions. The department has multiple functional reporting lines to global COO and a hierarchical line to WB Americas.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with various teams to make a tangible impact during the internship.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate college student graduating in 2028, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, engineering, or a related field. Graduate students may also be considered for certain roles.
  • Liberal arts majors interested in finance and banking careers are welcome to apply.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Skills

  • Self-motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Pay

$35/hour

Schedule

Full-time, paid seasonal internship starting June 2027 (10 weeks).
