Program Overview
The Investment Banking Analyst Program is a two-year experience designed for undergraduates interested in building the technical and professional skills required for a long-term career in investment banking. Analysts are aligned to a product or industry coverage group where they support live transactions, prepare client materials, collaborate with bankers, and receive ongoing mentorship and feedback.
What To Expect
- Contributing to the build out of financial models and supporting financial analysis
- Conducting company and industry research
- Preparing client materials and pitch presentations
- Participating in diligence sessions, client meetings, and internal discussions
- Collaborating with senior bankers across sectors and geographies
- Supporting the development of junior team members
Required Qualifications
- 6+ months of Investment Banking Program experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Strong academic achievement
- Demonstrated interest in finance and financial markets
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Proven ability to take on significant responsibility
- Relevant internship experience
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with expected graduation between December 2026-June 2027
Program Locations
- New York
- Charlotte
- Limited opportunities in Chicago, Houston, and Washington, D.C.
Pay Range
$110,000 Yearly across all locations

- Visa Requirements: Wells Fargo only considers candidates who are presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who do not require work visa sponsorship from Wells Fargo now or in the future in order to retain their authorization to work in the United States.
- FINRA/Associated Person (AP): This position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements. Candidates must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to hire.
- Successful candidates must also meet and comply with ongoing regulatory obligations, which include periodic screening and mandatory reporting of certain incidents.
