About the role

Tree Assessing involves working in remote areas and can be physically demanding. It is important to be aware of potential risks and take appropriate precautions to ensure your health and safety. Preseason training is mandatory, and applicants with reoccurring injuries or severe bee or nut allergies are advised not to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with crew bosses, clients, and planters to maintain desirable quality standards.
  • Throw several plots and provide constructive feedback.
  • Keep accurate records of camp quality.

Requirements

  • Full car/truck license.
  • Experience driving a quad is beneficial.

Qualifications

Applicants must commit to the entire length of the spring contract, which runs from April 25th to July 10th in Ontario and Manitoba, and from May 10th to August 1st in Alberta. For summer work in July and August, applicants should apply in May or June.

Skills

Knowledge of desirable quality standards and ability to provide constructive feedback are essential.

Pay

Day-rated pay with bonuses.

Schedule

Planting experience with Outland is required.
