About the role

The RF/Microwave Engineering Team at Raytheon is seeking a college graduate to join their team. This position offers opportunities to work on various systems and equipment supporting programs like Global Patriot and Early Warning Systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform fixtured and on-wafer probe measurements
  • Assemble RF/microwave/millimeter-wave test systems
  • Use software to control test equipment and plot test results
  • Support the MMIC and module design teams
  • Integration and test of Digital, Analog, and RF components and modules
  • Circuit analysis, circuit simulation, design documentation maintenance, trade assessments for obsolescence resolution, troubleshooting and resolution of hardware performance issues and hardware integration, test and verification
  • Work as part of a team to analyze Hardware / Firmware test requirements / specifications to determine Hardware and Firmware requirements
  • Develop solutions to test issues and develop productivity and efficiency enhancements
  • Interact with test technicians, factory facilitators, operations managers, other engineers, Quality Assurance and Reliability personnel
  • Design of RF microwave components and phased array applications
  • Integration and test of component level and system level phased array hardware

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM major
  • Experience/coursework in RF/microwave, Analog, Digital Electronics, Circuit Design or Analysis, Electrical Components, Electromagnetics
  • Lab experience specific to RF/microwave device and circuit measurements
  • Knowledge of electrical circuit design, analysis and troubleshooting using common lab equipment
  • Experience with Python, Labview, Keysight ADS, HFSS, Cadence Virtuoso, MATLAB, CST, Mentor Graphics’ Expedition, AutoCAD, TCAD, C++, Java, JMP
  • Good written and oral communication skills

$57,200 - $108,800 USD
