Responsibilities

• Connect customers with products and services, understand their needs, and provide solutions.
• Be the primary point of contact between MANCON and afloat and ashore commands in the Hampton Roads Area.
• Promote products available within the contract and generate new business within the DOD community.
• Be familiar with military including acronyms and ranks, customs, and logistic requirements.
• Drive sales through direct and indirect customer outreach.
• Develop a strong understanding of the Servmart contract and the full range of offerings available to DoD customers.
• Identify opportunities to expand Servmart's reach within the local DoD community.
• Advise customers with relevant information that supports informed purchasing decisions for their commands.
• Build new business opportunities while strengthening engagement with existing customers.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with DoD commands across Hampton Roads.
• Conduct customer visits and networking efforts to promote contract awareness and customer engagement.
• Cook meetings with key personnel across various commands and deliver sales presentations.
• Maintain accurate records to meet reporting requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Prior military experience with supply chain or logistics.
• Working knowledge of DoD contracting processes including FAR and DFARS regulations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to build, develop, and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrate initiative, professionalism, and a results-driven approach to achieving or exceeding sales goals.
• Able to obtain and maintain access to military installations, including successful completion of background checks and acquisition of required credentials (e.g., dBIDS).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness and ability to travel to various locations as needed.
