Responsibilities

• Address customer needs, pick up and deliver parts for VDOT sites, and assist with inventory control.
• Operate a forklift.
• Review, familiarize with, and adhere to Product Group Catalog, Policy and Procedures Manual, MANCON’s SOPs and Safety Manual.
• Provide quality customer service by attending to details, meeting and greeting customers, reviewing requisition forms, answering questions, researching and providing parts, informing customers about part availability, and data entry.
• Generate invoices for customer requisitions, enter vendor receiving documents, perform weekly inventory cycle counts, and assist with Wall-to-Wall inventories.
• Follow established guidelines for vehicle and equipment maintenance, provide 24-hour availability during emergencies, assist with inventory research projects, and participate in SCM continuing training programs.
• Adhere to required procedures and assist the Store Supervisor with other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License with two years driving experience.
• 24-hour availability during emergency and/or critical operations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift license (training provided).
• Delivery Driver experience.
• Auto parts or heavy-duty truck parts experience.
• Inventory or warehouse experience.

Qualifications

• Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• Driving, Lifting, Reaching, Sitting, Standing, Stooping, Walking.
• Work in storerooms and warehouses with uncontrolled temperatures and dirt/dust/damp conditions, and in vehicles traveling to sites.
