About the role

Greenbrier High School is seeking an experienced English teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The position is available at 126 Cuniff Street, Greenbrier, TN 37073.

Responsibilities

• Teach English to students in grades 7-12
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards
• Assess student progress and provide feedback
• Incorporate technology and innovative teaching methods into the classroom

Requirements

• Current teaching certification in English at the high school level
• Experience teaching English to students in grades 7-12
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other educators and staff
• Pass a background check

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English or related field
• Master's degree preferred
• Experience with differentiated instruction and assessment
